SEAN KEANASSEMBLYMAN, D-30
After serving in the New Jersey General Assembly since 2002, Sean Kean was elected to the Senate in November of 2007. After Legislative Redistricting, Sean returned to the General Assembly in 2012. During his career in the legislature, Senator Kean has sponsored many pieces of legislation to improve the quality of life in Monmouth and throughout New Jersey. He sponsored legislation which mandated carbon monoxide sensors be installed in all residences, and legislation that would increase the penalties for kidnapping a child under the age of 16. Assemblyman Kean serves on various boards and organizations thought the county, including the Saint Rose Advisory Board and the Kimball Medical Center Foundation Board, the Advisory Board of the Asbury Park Corps of the Salvation Army, and the Board of Directors of the Scan Learning Center. He is also co-chair of the Council of State Governments’ Eastern Regional Conference.
