After serving in the New Jersey General Assembly since 2002, Sean Kean was elected to the Senate in November of 2007. During his career in the legislature, Senator Kean has sponsored many pieces of legislation to improve the quality of life in Monmouth and throughout New Jersey. He sponsored legislation which mandated carbon monoxide sensors be installed in all residences, and legislation that would increase the penalties for kidnapping a child under the age of 16. Senator Kean serves on the NJ Legislative Services Commission, which studies and seeks to improve the operations of the Legislature, as well as many boards and organizations thought the county, including the Monmouth County Environmental Council, the Board of Directors of Republicans for Environmental Protection, the Advisory Board of the Asbury Park Corps of the Salvation Army, and the Board of Directors of the Scan Learning Center. He is also co-chair of the Council of State Governments’ Eastern Regional Conference.

MARY PAT ANGELINIASSEMBLYWOMAN, D-11
After taking her oath of office on January 8, 2008, to serve in the General Assembly representing the 11th legislative district, Assemblywoman Angelini was appointed to the Assembly Health and Senior Service Committee and the Commerce and Economic Development Committee. Since 1992, she has been the executive director of Prevention First, a nonprofit agency which provides substance abuse and violence prevention programs to the youth of Monmouth County. Assemblywoman Angelini has served as president of the New Jersey Prevention Network and as a member of the Leadership Council for the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America. She was appointed by various Governors of the State of New Jersey to serve on the Governor’s Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse. She is involved in other planning and policy boards including the Monmouth Ocean Development Council and the Asbury Park Chamber of Commerce. In 2008, she was appointed to the New Jersey Human Rights Commission.

DAVE RIBLEASSEMBLYMAN, D-11
Assemblyman Dave Rible of Wall Township was elected to represent the 11th Legislative District on November 6, 2007. He was chosen by his fellow Assembly members to serve as the Assistant Minority Whip. He also serves on the Assembly Law and Public Safety Committee, the Assembly Homeland Security and State Preparedness Committee, and is a member of the State Fire Safety Commission.
A lifelong resident of Monmouth County, Assemblyman Rible is a devoted and accomplished community and civic leader. He is a former captain and president of the Belmar Fire Department and is still an active member. He served as President of the Wall Republican Club and the Southern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce. He has been involved with the Belmar First Aid Squad, the Boy Scouts of America and Wall Helps its People. Assemblyman Rible also served on the Wall Township Planning Board from 2000-2007.
