Senator Andrew R. Ciesla has represented the 10th Legislative District in the New Jersey State Senate since 1991. He is a member and former Chairman of the Senate Transportation Committee, and also serves on the Senate Environment Committee. Senator Ciesla previously served as a Councilman in his hometown of Brick Township from 1987 to 1991, and served as Council President from 1989 to 1990. Since being elected to the Legislature, Senator Ciesla has sponsored numerous pieces of legilsation that have been signed into law. He has been a member of various committees that focus on issues relevant to the Jersey Shore, including the State Beach Erosion Commission and the Clean Action and Shore Trust Commission.

DAVID WOLFEASSEMBLYMAN, D-10
Assemblyman David Wolfe is presently serving in his eighth term in the New Jersey General Assembly representing the 10th legislative district. He currently serves as Assistant Republican Leader. Assemblyman Wolf served on the Brick Township Council from 1976 until 1991, and was council president from 1980 to 1981 and from 1987 to 1988. He is a member of many organizations and commissions, including the Joint Committee on Public Schools and the Governor's Advisory Panel on Higher Education Restructuring. He is chairman of the Commission on Business Efficiency of the Public Schools, a board member or Ocean Federal Foundation, and a former chairman of the State Beach Erosion Commission. Assemblyman Wolfe has been honored with the Association of Retarded Citizens Humanitarian Award, and the Ocean County College Alumni Distinguished Service Award. In 1995, Assemblyman Wolfe was named Brick Township's Republican of the Year.

JAMES HOLZAPFELASSEMBLYMAN, D-10
Assemblyman James W. Holzapfel was sworn in to the Assembly on August 15, 1994 after being chosen by the Republican County Committee members of the 10th District to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of Virginia Haines. He won a special election for the remaining year of the unexpired term on November 8, 1994 and has been elected to full terms six times. Assemblyman Holzapfel has served as a member and past chairman of the Joint Committee on Ethical Standards and as past chairman of the Governor's Study Commission on Parole. He has had various appointments and memberships to civic and professional organizations including the Law Enforcement Study Commission, Governor's Advisory Council on Juvenile Justice and the International Narcotics Enforcement Officers Association.
