Monmouth County Republican Screening Committee Recommends Andrew Unanue for U.S. Senate

Dear fellow Republicans:

On Tuesday night, the Monmouth County Republican Screening Committee met to consider Andrew Unanue, the latest candidate to enter the race as the Republican nominee for U.S. Senator.  Without reservation, the screening committee unanimously endorses Andrew Unanue as the best candidate to beat Frank Lautenberg, and help our Monmouth County Republican Freeholder candidates retain control of county government.  As a young entrepreneur, Andy embodies the American dream in his optimistic vision for a better New Jersey through leadership in Washington.  Andy Unanue is the breath of fresh air that our Republican Party will welcome in this fall campaign.

As a strong friend of Presidential nominee John McCain, Andy Unanue will receive the attention from leaders in Washington, and the strong financial backing needed to overcome the Democrats’ negative attack money machine.  Andy Unanue is strong on national defense, calls on secure borders to stem the tide of illegal immigration, and will fight to make the Bush tax cuts permanent.

We, the members of the screening committee, respectfully ask the members of the county committee to consider Andy Unanue for their vote in Wednesday’s county convention.  Attached please find a copy of Andy Unanue’s announcement letter for your review.

Respectfully,

Chairman Adam Puharic

County Clerk M. Claire French
Senator Sean Kean
Senator Jennifer Beck
Assemblywoman Caroline Casagrande
Rosemarie Peters
Senator John Bennett
Chairman Steven McEnery
Chairman Tom Apostle
Finance Committee member Carl Guzzo
